I am a 74-year-old female and have been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease since 2007. My GFR has been as low as 19 but only as high as 24. My creatinine has been as high as 2.9 and as low as 1.6 I started with acupuncture about 1 year ago with work on my kidney meridian as well as some others. I went every week to 2 weeks for a while and now only once a month for maintenance. When I had my last kidney labs done my GFR was 32 and my creatinine was 1.2. The only change in my life was acupuncture. Now I am stage 3 kidney disease. I am going to continue with the therapy and see what else positive might happen.
